We are excited to announce that Powercor Tour de Depot is returning to Lake Pertobe in Warrnambool on Sunday 10 April. This year we have partnered with local charity Standing Tall - an early intervention, school-based mentoring program designed to identify students who are at risk of disengaging from the opportunities offered to them. 100% of entry fees will go directly to Standing Tall.
What is Tour de Depot?
Tour de Depot is all about getting the community on their bikes to raise much needed funds for a local charity so that together we can make a real difference in the community. The event includes a time trial, community participation ride, and finish line festival with carnival rides, market stalls, local entertainment, sausage sizzle and much more.
Why Standing Tall?
Standing Tall is an early intervention, school-based mentoring program designed to identify students who are at risk of disengaging from the opportunities offered to them. Through their support program Standing Tall recruit and train members of the community to become mentors to help 'at risk' students have a better chance at a full education, someone to trust, and stability in their lives.
How can you help or get involved?
- Register and join the fun, 100 per cent of entry fees will go directly to Standing Tall
- Entry fees are $5 for children, $15 for adults and $35 for families (2 adults,2 children)
- The 20km timed event is $50 to register and includes family entry in the 10km community participation ride
- Take part in the community festival at the finish line located at Lake Pertobe.
- Donate Cash, in turn raising funds for Standing Tall

Standing Tall in Warrnambool
Standing Tall is a youth mentoring program helping kids that are disengaged in school or life in general through one on one mentoring at Warrnambool and Brauer College. Students are matched up with a mentor from the community who undergoes a strict screening policy, they then spend an hour a week together during school hours. The aim of the program is to provide support, knowledge and build a friendship with the student and guide them through a challenging period of their life.
